This position is responsible for ensuring that products meet quality standards and meet customer expectations. This involves inspecting products during the production process through sampling, testing, measuring, and inspecting the products to meet quality standards. Quality control inspectors must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify and report any discrepancies.
This position reports to the Plant Lead, Quality Control Supervisor, and Process Engineer.
DESCRIPTION

- Perform visual, manual, or measurement inspections to identify defects, inconsistencies, or deviations from quality standards.
- Identify defects and non-conformities in finished products.
- Record inspection results, including measurements and the history of reviewed pallets.
- Conduct various tests to identify defects during the production process.
- Use measurements tools and equipment to verify dimensions, weights, and other product specifications.
- Ensure all products meet customer specifications and quality standards.

EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in quality control functions.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in plastic industries preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
- Manual dexterity for handling objects and performing repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift boxes weighing from 10 to 30 lbs. on average.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Work is primarily performed on the manufacturing floor, with exposure to loud noises, machinery (including moving equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and scissor lifts), and varying temperatures. There may also be potential exposure to certain chemicals.
The use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory at all times.
