Job Title: Presumptive Eligibility Coordinator (K0245084)
Position Summary
The Presumptive Eligibility Coordinator serves as the coordinator for the Presumptive Eligibility Program. This role plans, manages, and coordinates the onboarding and training of new PE entities, providing instructions and guidance to facilitate accurate and timely determinations. The coordinator collaborates with KEES, KMMS, the Clearinghouse, and other entities to ensure the smooth operation of the PE program. Additionally, the position monitors and tracks performance measures for each PE entity, provides feedback to the entities and KDHE program staff regarding performance outcomes, and initiates or recommends corrective actions for individual entities.
Responsibilities

- Provides feedback to KDHE program staff regarding performance outcomes of the entities, initiates and recommends corrective action for individual entities.
- Provides general program support, including input on policy and processes and participation in unit meetings.
Qualifications
- Education: High School, GED.
- Licensing & Certification: Valid driver’s license required.
- Minimum experience: One year of experience in planning, implementing, and monitoring activities relevant to the agency’s programs (education may substitute).
- Preferred qualifications:
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.
- Proofreading and editing skills.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Analytical skills.
- Experience using the Kansas Eligibility Enforcement System.
- Verbal communication and public speaking.
- Ability to provide clear directions.
- Organization skills.
- One year’s experience with Kansas Medicaid.
- Ability to adapt communication to the audience.
- Post‑offer, pre‑employment requirements: Obtain a valid Kansas Tax Clearance Certificate within ten (10) days of the job offer.
