Position Overview:

Under the direction of the Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer is responsible for supporting the improvement of product quality through Continuous Improvement Projects, Inspection, Rework, and Refurbishment of products sold by Johnson Health Tech. Duties will include working directly with R&D, Field Service, CTS, Operations, HQ, and Factory teams to improve quality. The Quality Engineer will help improve SOP’s and help the team to streamline the documentation of defects, identify quality trends, track root failure analysis, create and manage effective corrective actions, and coordinating rework efforts to fix issues before they reach customers.

Responsibilities:

Continuous Improvement:

Analyze Defect Data/Identify Trends
Identify Root Failures
Create Effective Corrective Actions
Rework Products
Refurbish Products

Travel and Communication:

Travel to customer sites (domestically) and Manufacturing sites (Internationally) 2-4 times per year
Communicate with domestic and global teams during non-business hours
Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering related field is preferred.
Quality certification is preferred

Experience:

Minimum 2 Years experience as Quality Engineer
Experience in manufacturing or quality assurance roles
Experience using Six Sigma tools and techniques
Experience working with Asia based teams in Manufacturing, R&D, and Quality

Other Requirements:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Office 365 products
Ability and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
