About the Role:
We’re hiring a Quality Assurance Manager on behalf of a major national player in the fresh food manufacturing and distribution space. This is a direct hire role for a fast-paced cold food facility in Indianapolis, IN — ideal for a QA leader ready to take full ownership of plant quality systems and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all QA operations to ensure full compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, USDA, GFSI).
Lead and mentor QA personnel to promote a strong food safety culture.
Maintain audit readiness and lead all internal/external inspections.
Collaborate with operations and production teams to address non-conformances.
Support training, coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
5+ years in the food industry, including 3+ years in QA management.
Experience in USDA-regulated, GFSI-certified facilities (BRC preferred).
Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and QA systems.
Hands-on leadership style with excellent documentation and audit skills.
Schedule & Location:
Onsite role in Indianapolis, IN
Monday–Friday, day shift (5/40)
Compensation:

Pay: $100,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
