Job Summary:
To develop, implement, and manage processes and quality control systems to ensure product or service quality aligns with customer expectations and regulatory requirements. The role involves driving continuous improvement, minimizing operational defects, and promoting a culture of quality throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Management:
Design, document, and implement efficient processes to enhance operational performance.
Create SOP documentation for each process.
Monitor and optimize workflows to reduce waste and improve productivity.
Conduct regular process audits and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Implement Lean, Six Sigma, or other quality methodologies to improve operational efficiency.
Quality Control:
Develop and maintain a robust quality management system (QMS).
Establish quality benchmarks, KPIs, and defect reduction targets.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for quality issues and lead corrective action initiatives.
Ensure all products/services meet customer requirements and industry standards.
Continuous Improvement:
Train staff on quality standards, tools, and processes.
Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and resolving quality and process challenges.
Adapt Kaizen methodology across different departments.
Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure adherence to SLAs and SOPs.
Prepare regular reports on process efficiency and product/service quality.
Key Skills and Competencies:
Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO, Lean, Six Sigma) and continuous improvement methodologies such as Kaizen.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent project management abilities.
Leadership and team management skills.
Effective communication and stakeholder management.
Proficient in data analysis and quality control tools.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in operations management, industrial engineering, business, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in quality control or process management.
Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is a plus.
Experience in logistics and supply chain is highly desirable.
