Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Process Quality Assurance role based in Phnom Penh. The Process Quality Assurance specialist will monitor and evaluate production processes to ensure product quality, consistency, and compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include developing and implementing quality procedures, performing in-process inspections and audits, identifying root causes of quality issues, and collaborating with manufacturing teams to drive corrective and preventive actions. The role will also involve maintaining documentation, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and reduce defects. The specialist will contribute to training production staff on quality standards and best practices to uphold Caleres’ commitment to craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Control and Quality Assurance to monitor production and ensure products meet defined standards.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Quality Management to develop, implement, and improve quality systems and procedures.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry requirements.
- Candidates should possess experience in Quality Auditing to conduct internal and external audits and verify adherence to quality processes.
- Relevant experience in manufacturing, footwear, apparel, or related industries is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive process improvements.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with production, engineering, and management teams.
- Post-secondary education in engineering, quality management, industrial management, or a related field is preferred.
