We are seeking a Lead QA Engineer to lead our quality assurance efforts and drive excellence in our software development processes. This role will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining robust quality assurance processes to ensure our SaaS HealthTech product meets the highest standards of reliability and security compliance

Key Responsibilities:
· Define and implement quality assurance strategies, processes, and best practices for SaaS-based MedTech software.
· Lead the test automation framework development to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
· Manage and mentor a team of QA engineers while remaining actively involved in hands-on testing, debugging, and automation.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality processes throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
· Design and execute manual and automated test plans to validate functionality, performance, security, and scalability.
· Develop and track key quality metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
· Investigate and resolve software defects by working closely with developers.
· Ensure traceability and documentation for all testing activities to meet regulatory and audit requirements.
· Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance software quality practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
· 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
· Strong background in test automation with experience in tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JMeter, Locust or similar.
· Experience in API testing, performance testing, and security testing.
· Knowledge of cloud-based SaaS architectures and CI/CD pipelines, specifically AWS
· Hands-on experience with programming/scripting languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar).
· Experience with GxP validation processes in regulated healthcare environments.
· Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and analytical thinking.
· Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a proactive and results-driven approach.
Additional Requirements:
· Experience in AI/ML-based medical software validation.
· Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and HL7/FHIR standards.
· ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications.
Must reside in the U.S.

Pay: $99,000.00 – $129,405.00 per year
