About the Role
Efficiently manage sourcing, supplier relationships, and contract negotiations. Mitigate supply chain risks, conduct market analysis, and ensure timely delivery of procurement & sourcing activities. Deliver sourcing requirements, manage supplier relationships, and lead contract negotiations whilst ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Management
– Lead the preparation and issuance of RFPs for FM Category independently with minimal support and oversight
– Identifying suppliers, initiating contracts, and establishing business and organisational partnerships
– Lead execution of variation orders in line with governance structures, including DoA, Policy and Procedures
– Support the evaluation of existing supplier capabilities and maintain relationships with key vendors
Strategic Facilities Procurement Execution
– Support in managing spend within the FM category, including category strategy development and implementation
– Support the identification of opportunities in the FM business plan, focusing on high spend areas and driving cost-saving opportunities
Market Analysis
– Stay informed about market trends and pricing
– Conduct market research for better decision-making
Order Processing and Fulfilment
– Process purchase orders efficiently
– Ensure timely delivery of goods and services
Procurement Process Support
– Support the development of best-practice processes in procurement
– Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather procurement requirements, provide quality assurance of scope & technical requirements
– Establish benchmarks in the relevant category to be leveraged by the team
Facilities Management Procurement
– This role refers to the management and organisation of supply processes related to the entire project
– It includes obtaining all necessary goods, services, and resources to successfully complete the project
– It enables the organisation to maximise the benefits of the project by ensuring the availability of everything needed for efficient and effective implementation
Strategic Sourcing
– Negotiate and establish long-term strategic framework agreements to secure favourable terms
– Implement strategic sourcing initiatives to drive efficiency improvements
Promoting Cost Efficiency and Centralisation
– Foster a culture of long-term cost savings in procurement and champion cost-savings initiatives in FM Procurement
– Negotiate with suppliers to achieve favourable terms
– Support the monitoring of achieved savings/value creation across the FM category
Required Skills
- Minimum of 8 years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, business administration, or any related field
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Document drafting skills, software skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Data analytical skills
- Proven expertise in strategic sourcing
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across the team
