Schedule: We have two positions available for the following schedules:
Monday through Friday 3am until finished ( will work 8-10 hours)
Thursday through Sunday 3am until finished ( Will work 10-12 hours)
Compensation: $22.00/hr. to $24.00/hr. DOE
Essential Job Functions:
Perform routine produce quality control inspections on incoming and outgoing products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Coordinate with Commodity Managers and Quality & Inventory Specialists to address quality concerns, arrange product return, and manage defective produce replacement processes.
Analyze and report on quality control metrics, identify trends, and propose action plans for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline quality management processes and implement best practice procedures.
Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to quality control processes and inventory management.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards pertaining to quality control management.
Conduct internal audits and participate in our external and customer audits.
Support the Safety and Risk Management Processes / OSHA and conduct safety inspections.
Assist with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Produce experience is a plus but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience in quality control, perishable produce environment.
Excellent knowledge of quality control principles.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues, evaluate root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards.
Must be authorized to work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for the US
Physical Requirements:
Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
Ability to perform moderate lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and utilize ladders and other warehouse related equipment
Ability to stand, move, and bend for entire shift
Ability to reach over head
Ability to work in a cold environment for full shifts
