Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, you'll act as the key connection between our Australia-based Product Development team and our manufacturing partners across the United States, Canada and United Kingdom.
No two days look the same. One day you might be evaluating flavor samples with a manufacturing partner, the next you're approving a first production run, troubleshooting a product issue, or helping launch a new innovation into the market.
You'll play a critical role in accelerating product development timelines, strengthening supplier relationships, and ensuring seamless execution across our growing portfolio of supplements, beverages, and functional nutrition products.
This role is based in the Salt Lake City area, where many of our key manufacturing and ingredient partners are located.
What You'll Own
Product Development & Commercialization
- Lead sensory evaluations, sample testing, and product approvals across our US manufacturing network
- Coordinate first production runs and support successful commercialization of new products
- Review and approve flavour, ingredient, packaging, and finished product samples
- Act as the final on-the-ground quality and product checkpoint before products move into market
- Identify opportunities to improve product quality, consistency, and speed-to-market
- Support innovation projects from concept through launch
Manufacturing & Supplier Partnerships
- Serve as the primary liaison between EHPlabs and our manufacturing partners across the US and UK
- Build strong relationships with manufacturers, flavour houses, ingredient suppliers, and packaging vendors
- Support onboarding, qualification, and setup of new manufacturing partners
- Attend production trials, line runs, and facility visits as required
- Help resolve manufacturing, quality, and product-related issues quickly and effectively
Product Operations & Technical Support
- Own day-to-day product queries across all active US SKUs
- Coordinate with Quality, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to resolve technical product matters
- Maintain product specifications, approvals, testing records, and supporting documentation
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across product development and manufacturing operations
- Ensure projects move forward efficiently while maintaining EHPlabs quality standards
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Product Development, Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, and Commercial teams
- Provide regular updates on project timelines, risks, approvals, and manufacturing readiness
- Support launch planning and execution activities across multiple product categories
- Help drive stronger alignment between global product strategy and regional execution
About You
- 3–5+ years of experience in Product Development, Food Science, R&D, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, or a related field
- Experience within sports nutrition, supplements, beverages, FMCG, food manufacturing, or a similar industry
- Comfortable conducting sensory evaluations and assessing flavour, texture, appearance, and finished product quality
- Strong understanding of product development and commercialization processes
- Excellent relationship-building skills and confidence working directly with manufacturers and suppliers
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Highly organized, proactive, and solutions-focused
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working across multiple stakeholders, functions, and time zones
- Willing and able to travel regularly to manufacturing and supplier sites throughout the United States
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Product Development, or a related discipline preferred

Salary Range (CAD / USD)
$75-90k USD based on location and experience
