The Opportunity:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Product Quality Assurance Engineer with 1-2 years of experience. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in api, mobile and web application testing and familiarity with automation testing concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform functional, UI/UX, regression, and exploratory testing for mobile and web applications.
Plan, create, execute and maintain detailed test cases and suites based on product specifications.
Work with the cross-functional teams to help identify, isolate, debug and resolve bugs.
Document, and track defects using bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
Collaborate with developers and other team members to ensure high quality.
Perform API testing using tools like Postman.
Knowledge of any Automation Framework or intent to learn one will be a plus.
Ensure adherence to QA best practices and participate in agile/scrum development processes.
Mediate between customer support team and the tech team to help resolve user bugs and technical queries.
Technical Support: Provide dedicated technical support addressing and resolving first-level alerts and issues.
Monitoring Alerts: Keep a vigilant eye on alerts, responding and escalating issues as necessary to maintain system health and user satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in software testing (api, mobile and web).
Strong understanding of manual testing techniques, test case design, and defect lifecycle.
Experience in testing mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.
Knowledge of responsive design testing and debugging tools like Chrome DevTools.
Good communication skills, logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to conduct cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
