Job Description:
Product QA Test Lead will work with a diverse team of testers to ensure an exceptional user experience for our consumers. This role is critical in shaping the quality of the product and demands a strong focus on the end-user perspective. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional who can empathize with end users, identify functional and usability issues, validate product’s functionality and uphold product excellence.

Responsibilities:
Design and execute real-world test plans based on PRD
Validate functionality, connectivity, firmware updates, and OS compatibility
Simulate real-world usage to identify limitations and usability issues
Ensure ease of use and overall user satisfaction across hardware, software, and apps
Advocate for end users by communicating usability concerns to stakeholders
Promote a user-centric QA culture
Lead and mentor testers in manual, automation, and usability testing
Assign tasks, track progress, and ensure timely test execution
Collaborate with designers and product managers on improvements
Oversee test coverage, defect tracking, and reporting
Ensure efficient issue resolution with actionable feedback
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of hands-on experience in Product QA, with a focus on user-centric testing
Demonstrated experience in leading teams of testers
Experience in testing of mobile applications (iOS and Android)
Knowledge of principles and methods of usability testing
Familiarity with testing tools and defect tracking systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in scripting for automation (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
