Are available for a full-time, in-office internship
Can start immediately
Can commit to a 6-month internship
Are based in Pune or are open to relocating to Pune and nearby areas
Have a strong interest in software testing and quality assurance, including manual testing, automation, performance, or mobile app testing
Are eager to learn and develop skills in establishing QA processes
Are familiar with at least one programming language, such as Python or Java
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Help design and create detailed test cases to cover various scenarios and edge cases.
Execute manual tests carefully, ensuring test results are accurately documented.
Work closely with the QA team to perform regression testing and identify defects caused by code changes.
Take part in exploratory testing sessions to uncover unexpected issues and provide insightful feedback.
Learn how to write clear and detailed bug reports, including steps to reproduce, expected and actual results, and other key details.
Communicate effectively with developers and product managers to share testing progress, issues, and concerns.
Develop an understanding of the industry/domain to better identify potential issues and user needs.
Assist in setting up test environments, configuring various platforms, and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
Learn to assess the application’s responsiveness, stability, and performance under different conditions.
Gain exposure to security and usability testing practices to help identify vulnerabilities and improve user experience.
Collaborate with the QA team to create and maintain testing documentation, such as test plans and execution reports.
Contribute to risk assessment discussions and help identify potential risks.
Work with team members to enhance the overall software development life cycle and improve processes.
Qualifications
A B.E., B.Tech, or equivalent degree from a recognized institution in a technical field, or currently pursuing a degree in a relevant discipline.
Strong interest in quality assurance and software testing, with a willingness to learn and grow in the field.
Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Basic understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies is a plus.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Familiarity with different operating systems, browsers, and devices is an advantage.
Enthusiasm for working in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
Previous exposure to testing tools or programming languages is a bonus.
A genuine eagerness to contribute to software quality through manual testing.
