Job Objective
Ensure end‑to‑end quality assurance for humanoid robot components, modules, and final assemblies throughout the prototype and pilot‑build phases; proactively detect design or process risks, drive root‑cause analysis, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance product quality, stability, and long‑term reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute quality inspection processes for incoming materials (IQC), in‑process checks (PQC), and final outgoing robots/modules (OQC) across prototype and pilot builds.
- Inspect and evaluate components, assemblies, and robot modules to ensure full compliance with engineering drawings, tolerances, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, and Testing teams to diagnose defect root causes and drive corrective & preventive actions (CAPA) for continual quality improvement.
- Monitor, analyze, and report defect trends, providing data‑driven recommendations to optimize assembly processes, improve reliability, and reduce failure rates.
- Assess and control the quality of supplied parts and outsourced manufacturing outputs, ensuring consistency with approved standards and vendor quality agreements.
- Define and maintain criteria, procedures, and checklists for functional validation, safety evaluation, and reliability testing of humanoid robot prototypes.
- Manage quality documentation and traceability including inspection records, defect reports, quality evaluation documents, and configuration control logs.
- Provide internal training and ensure adherence to safety, technical standards, and 5S principles within inspection zones and production areas.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation, Quality Management, or related fields.
- At least 3 years of experience in quality inspection and control for electromechanical products, robots, or automated equipment.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and apply GD&T/tolerance standards for mechanical, electrical, and mechatronic components.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and functional testing methods for robot modules and prototype systems.
- Detail‑oriented and analytical, with good communication skills; experience in prototype builds, robot assembly, or high‑tech manufacturing is a plus.
