Job Title: Product Quality Engineer

Location: Bintan, Indonesia

Direct Manager: Quality Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain quality control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Conduct product testing, inspections, and First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR).

Use statistical process control (SPC) to analyze product performance.

Investigate and resolve non-conformances with corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Lead root cause analysis using 8D, Fishbone, and 5 Whys methods.

Optimize manufacturing processes through validation, risk assessments, and FMEA.

Assist in creating SOPs, quality work instructions, and process improvements.

Support audits, certifications, and compliance initiatives.

Respond to customer complaints and warranty claims with effective solutions.

Drive continuous improvement through Kaizen, training, and quality enhancement projects.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering

Minimum 2 (two) years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or manufacturing

Knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, SPC, 8D, CAPA, DOE, 7QC TOOLS)

Experience with ISO standards, quality audits, and regulatory compliance

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (Six Sigma, Lean)

Ability to read engineering drawings, GD&T, and specifications

Proficiency in measurement tools (calipers, micrometers)

Familiarity with ERP/MRP and quality management software (PLM, Minitab)

Excellent communication, teamwork, and attention to detail

Experience in root cause analysis and corrective actions
