As a Product Quality Engineer, you will evaluate the product designs and create the quality processes, tools, and procedures to help continuously improve the customer experience by improving product quality at the manufacturing site. You will work very closely with Product Management, Product Design, System Engineering, Product Operations, and Supply Chain teams.

Responsibilities

  • Apply Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) fundamentals and collaborate with teams to help them understand and apply RCCA tools and principles and analyze failure to resolve issues.
  • Define and execute data collection activities for technical issues.
  • Drive process design, optimization, and qualification activities of a manufacturing process for a component, part or product.
  • Drive design of experiments and collect statistical process control data to enable evaluation, qualification and verification is manufacturing quality across manufactures and product lines.
  • Manage and address factory quality issue escalation, issues Failure Analysis (FA), Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) from First Article Inspection (FAI), Outgoing Quality Control (OQC), and On-Going Reliability (ORT), yield fallouts, customer complaints, and field failures, during New Product Introduction (NPI) phases.
