Job Summary
Receives and unloads window and patio door products from Painter, ensuring purchase order completion and accuracy. Inventories and inspects all windows for Vinylmax quality standards. Perform minor touch up and window enhancements to match Vinylmax quality. Complete and wrap all units correctly, sorting them by order and route for shipping.

Responsibilities
- Weekly receiving of windows/patio doors from vendors unloading shipping carts from the trailer and verifying window count and order count. Must ensure windows received match the packing slip included on the truck.
- Scan windows into the department area by using the white label attached to each unit. This confirms the window count for purchasing to pay invoices and close purchase orders
- Sort orders by delivery date to the customer using both setup racks and carts.
- Inspect each window by fully operating the unit and cleaning all dirt/overspray from the glass and vinyl. Inspection includes measuring each unit and confirming proper fit and finish
- Perform any mechanical or window enhancements to meet our quality standards. Must reject the window if any aspect fails to meet our standards
- Install the matching screen with the unit and confirm the presence and color of any window accessory pieces.
- Scan the window as complete.
- Package the window correctly, covering all painted surfaces with paper/cardboard, and finally wrapping the window
- Place completed units and orders on shipping carts, packaging each order with a touchup bottle
Minimum Requirements:
- Hours are 7:00am – 3:30pm Monday through Friday
- High School Diploma, General Educational Development Diploma (GED) or equivalent experience
- Must be able to understand and carry out basic instructions while performing manual production related tasks
- Must be able to successfully use basic, math, writing, and reading skills
Experience
- Preferred if previous experience in materials handling, warehouse operations, and window product knowledge.

Work Environment & PPE
- Must be able to lift 50- 100 lbs. repetitively.
- Must be able to handle large windows
- Able to operate necessary equipment for the position: hand jack, telephone, computer, RF Scanner, etc.
- Must be able to walk and remain on feet for extended periods of time.
