Internal Quality Control Auditor – Repair Division
Job Description
CTL Aerospace is a full-service FAA/EASA/CAAC Repair Station providing services to the aerospace industry since 1946. The CTL Repair Division specializes in the overhaul and repair of aircraft metal and composite components.
We are seeking a talented professional to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment as a Customer Service Representative at our northern Cincinnati, Ohio location (less than 30 minutes from Dayton and/or northern Kentucky).
The Internal Quality Control Auditor ensures that organizational processes – and the goods and services that result/comply with the requirements of standards (e.g., AS9001), as well as customer, regulatory, and the organization’s own requirements.
Job Duties
Evaluate production processes for compliance with quality requirements
Periodically inspect auditing tools (e.g., scales, calipers)
Development of audit plans, audit schedules
Participate in both internal and external audits (FAA, EASA, CAAC, UK CAA and ISO 9001). When needed, lead a team of quality auditors)
Identify processes, situations, etc., where organization is not meeting requirements, as well as identify opportunities for improvement
Develop audit reports; present audit reports to top management, as needed
Perform follow-up audits, as required
Develop internal auditing/testing parameters
Monitor and implement recurrent training program for all shop personnel
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Must have a H.S. Diploma or equivalent
US Citizen
Ability to work in an office and manufacturing environment
Must have a minimum of 3 years of Quality experience
AS9001 Auditor training a plus
Good written and verbal communication skills
Detail oriented and sound decision-making skills
Demonstrated organization skills
