Position Summary
The Production Liaison serves as the quality checkpoint between design, fabrication, and
installation. This position verifies that approved drawings, production work orders, fabrication, and installation documentation all align before projects advance to the next phase. Rather than managing individual projects, this role supports all active production orders, working closely with Project Managers, Production Managers, and Operations Leadership to identify discrepancies early and maintain consistent quality standards across the organization. This is not a design or management position. It is a highly collaborative quality control and coordination role with the authority to pause production at defined quality checkpoints until issues are resolved.
Key Responsibilities
- Review approved drawings prior to fabrication release.
- Verify dimensions, materials, mounting methods, finishes, and electrical specifications.
- Ensure production work orders accurately reflect approved drawings.
- Confirm finished products match approved drawings before shipment.
- Verify installation packets accurately reflect fabricated products.
- Partner with Project Managers and Production Managers to resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain quality checkpoints and discrepancy logs.
- Decision-Making Authority: The Production Liaison may temporarily place a project on hold at established quality checkpoints when documentation, fabrication, or installation specifications do not align. Holds are communicated immediately for resolution and escalated to Operations Leadership when necessary.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in signage, fabrication, construction, manufacturing, or related production.
- Ability to read technical drawings and fabrication documents.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate across departments in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ADA signage, channel letters, or custom sign fabrication.
- Quality control or manufacturing coordination experience.
- Reduce production errors and field change orders.
- Improve communication between Production and Project Management.
- Maintain accurate discrepancy tracking and support process improvements.
Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
