Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Production Manager role located in the Riyadh Region, focused on latex examination and surgical glove manufacturing. The Production Manager oversees daily plant operations, including planning and scheduling production runs, monitoring output, and ensuring that quality, safety, and regulatory standards are consistently met. Responsibilities include managing and coaching production teams, assigning tasks, resolving operational issues, and coordinating with maintenance, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to minimize downtime and waste. The role involves analyzing production data, optimizing process parameters (e.g., dipping lines, curing, finishing, packing), and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce defects. The Production Manager also prepares reports, supports audits and certifications, enforces health and safety procedures, and collaborates with leadership to align production capacity with customer demand and business goals.
Qualifications
Strong experience in glove manufacturing processes, particularly latex examination gloves and surgical gloves, including dipping, leaching, curing, stripping, and packing operations.
Proven ability to manage production lines, plan and schedule output, control inventory of raw materials and consumables, and meet delivery deadlines.
Demonstrated knowledge of quality management systems, in-process controls, defect reduction, and compliance with relevant standards (e.g., medical device, ISO, GMP).
Experience leading and developing production teams, including training, performance monitoring, and fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
Familiarity with industrial health and safety practices, hazard identification, and corrective and preventive actions in a manufacturing environment.
Competence in using production data, KPIs, and basic statistical tools to troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Effective communication and coordination skills to work with quality, maintenance, engineering, supply chain, and management teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent experience in glove manufacturing may be considered.
Previous supervisory or managerial experience in medical glove production or a similar regulated manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
