Key Responsibilities
* Picking and Packing:
* Select and pack food produce items according to specifications and quality standards.
* Ensure that picked items are free from defects and meet company quality requirements.
* Label and package products correctly and efficiently.

Material Handling
:
* Load and unload products onto and off the production line.
* Organise and stage materials for easy access during the picking process.
*
Quality Control
:
* Perform visual inspections to identify any issues or defects in the products.
* Report any discrepancies or quality issues to the Production Supervisor.
* Maintenance and Cleanliness:
* Maintain a clean and organised work area in accordance with
food safety
and hygiene regulations.
* Follow all
safety protocols
and procedures to ensure a
safe working environment
.
* Documentation:
* Accurately record picking data and maintain logs as required.
* Complete any required paperwork and ensure records are up to date.

Skills and Abilities:
* Strong
attention to detail
and commitment to quality.
* Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
* Basic understanding of food production processes and quality standards.
* Ability to follow instructions and adhere to strict safety and quality standards.
Physical Requirements
* Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
* Comfortable working in a temperature-controlled environment (hot or cold, depending on the type of food produce).
Additional Requirements
* Willingness to work
flexible hours
, including shifts and overtime as needed.
* Compliance with
food safety
and hygiene regulations, including wearing appropriate protective clothing and equipment.
Shift Pattern:
* Mon-Sun shifts available
* We can be flexible with what days you work
* 8am-5pm or 12pm-10pm
