The Production Support Assistant is responsible for ensuring every order meets Alien Silkscreen’s quality standards before it leaves production. This position provides direct support to the print floor by inspecting printed garments, verifying work orders, assisting with packaging and shipping, and communicating any production issues immediately. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and takes pride in catching mistakes before they reach the customer.

Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform quality control inspections throughout production and before orders are packed and shipped to ensure garments meet company quality standards.
- Verify work orders, garment counts, sizes, ink colors, print placement, and special customer instructions before and during production.
- Monitor production output for print quality, consistency, and defects.
- Identify common garment and print defects.
- Immediately communicate quality concerns or production issues to the printer or Production Manager.
- Remove printed garments from dryer(s).
- Fold, bag, label, and package finished orders according to work order instructions.
- Verify finished order quantities before shipment.
- Prepare shipping labels and complete required production paperwork.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shipping, receiving, and production support areas.
- Use PMS color guides to verify ink colors when required.
- Follow all company safety procedures while operating or working around production equipment.
- Assist with general production support duties as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily production goals.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Position Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand motions
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Ability to distinguish colors accurately.
- Availability for overtime and occasional weekend work as needed.
Work Environment
This position is performed primarily in an open-air warehouse and production environment. Employees may be exposed to heat, noise, production equipment, inks, cleaning products, and other materials commonly used in garment-decorating operations.
Pay: From $13.50 per hour
