Job Title: Production Quality Lead

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee quality activities throughout the production process.
  • Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure compliance with customer requirements, drawings, and specifications.
  • Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Work closely with Production, Engineering, Planning, and Supply Chain to resolve quality concerns and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Lead MRB (Material Review Board) activities and disposition of nonconforming products.
  • Monitor and analyze quality KPIs, prepare reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards and applicable industry regulations.
  • Support internal, customer, and third-party quality audits.
  • Train and mentor production employees on quality standards, inspection methods, and best practices.
  • Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across the manufacturing floor.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Quality role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in electronics, SMT, wire harness, box build, or defense manufacturing – an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools, root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, or similar quality standards – an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good command of English (written and spoken).
