Production Quality Manager
Location is onsite in Springfield, VA. This is NOT a remote or hybrid position.
PD Power Systems, LLC is seeking a Production Quality Manager responsible for developing and maintaining the company’s quality strategy, policies, processes, standards, and systems for the company and suppliers to operate within. This candidate will work closely with all company departments to ensure compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 standard. Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) hardware and products is required as well as knowledge and expertise of ISO 9001 standard with previous internal auditing experience.
The position reports to the President & COO.
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the company’s Quality Management System in line with the required ISO 9001:2015 standard
Monitor and improve the quality of all processes through the company and final products and be able to provide evidence-based compliance
Manage and conduct Internal Audits and Management Reviews
Risk Management and Risk Mitigation
Oversee Customer Feedback, warranty claims, and defective products
Evaluate vendor qualifications and performance
Manage quality control and commissioning reports of products before delivery to customer
Lead company to achieve goals and achieve and maintain ISO recertification
Experience and
Education
Must have experience with Department of Defense (DoD) hardware and products.
3-5 years of experience in quality management position following ISO 9001 Standard
Previous or current certification in internal audits for ISO 9001
Experience with gathering customer feedback and evaluating supply chain vendors
Experience working with engineering and production
Technical and/or engineering background is a plus
Technical Skills
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel)
Experience with Adobe Pro
Personal Skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
Must be able to receive US Security clearance (
Note:
Must be US citizen to qualify for clearance.)
