Job Responsibilities
Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of multiple assembly teams, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently, on time, and to the highest standards of quality.
Production Oversight: Monitor the assembly process from start to finish, ensuring that all components are correctly integrated and that production schedules are met.
Quality Assurance: Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure all products meet or exceed industry standards. Implement and enforce quality control procedures, and oversee inspections at various stages of the assembly process.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the assembly process, and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and implement lean manufacturing principles.
Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and support to team leaders and assembly technicians, ensuring that all team members are skilled and knowledgeable in their roles. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Coordinate with other departments, such as Production Planning, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain, to ensure alignment and smooth workflow across the organization.
Resource Management: Ensure that all necessary tools, materials, and resources are available to the assembly teams. Manage inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to avoid production delays.
Safety Management: Enforce safety protocols and guidelines across all assembly teams, ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with all regulatory standards.
Reporting: Provide regular reports to senior management on production metrics, team performance, quality outcomes, and process improvements. Address any issues or challenges that arise and develop action plans to resolve them.
