Summary:

The Quality Analyst I monitors and improves the quality of our operational processes and outputs. Responsibilities include designing quality standards, inspecting materials, equipment, processes, and products, developing quality control systems, and determining corrective actions.

Essential Functions:

Capture and analyze product failure data to identify quality trends and highlight the most critical issues.
Convert quality data into concise, visually-driven reports that clearly convey the most impactful insights to relevant departments.
Collaborate with internal teams to communicate quality findings, investigate root causes of issues, and drive preventive and corrective actions to support continuous improvement.
Investigate and document non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Create and present clear, concise user stories about product failures to explain their impact to relevant teams.
Identify, document, and communicate product issues and performance metrics with suppliers. Assist in issuing Supplier Corrective Actions and collaborate closely with suppliers to drive quality improvements.
Monitor high-priority product returns, collaborate with the RMA Technician to record failure details, and ensure that returned parts and information are sent to suppliers or engineering for further review.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing.
Prepare and maintain a variety of reports, records, and logs. Effectively communicate quality data and metrics to Bluberi management.
Other projects and duties as assigned by manager.

Requirements:

Degree in Quality, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or relevant experience in lieu
1+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment
Familiarity with Lean concepts and principles desired
Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite
Must be able to communicate at a high level in English
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
ASQ certification is a plus
Prior exposure to casino gaming equipment is a plus
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Education and Experience:

Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Performing RCA to identify the source of defects or failures and implementing corrective actions.
Industry Standard Compliance: Experience working with industry regulatory companies, such as GLI and BMM.
Supplier Quality Management: Experience managing supplier quality, including auditing suppliers and ensuring they meet quality standards for components or materials used in production.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to see color and the ability to adjust focus. Essential responsibilities include moderate physical ability such as lifting or maneuvering at least ten (10) pounds, and prolonged instances of sitting during the shift.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
