The Project Officer is responsible for coordinating and supporting IT and business projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality assurance, and smooth production support. The role bridges business stakeholders and technical teams to guarantee accurate requirements, effective testing, and reliable operations.
Responsibilities
- Delivers projects and maintenance requests on time
- Conducts quality testing to minimize post-production issues
- Guides business teams in providing complete and accurate requirements
- Equips team members with the skills, tools, and knowledge to perform effectively
- Resolves or escalates production issues promptly to maintain business continuity
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized college or university
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Project Officer in IT or business (Assistant Manager to Senior Manager level)
- Preferably with an operations background
- Strong knowledge of Project Development Life Cycle, Agile and Hybrid Project Management methodologies, and Agile/Design Thinking practices
- Experience in project management and cross-functional initiatives
- Understanding of business processes related to applications handled
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
