Project Quality Engineer Job Summary
This position will assist the Project Quality Manager in the planning and implementation of the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) activities within the assigned Offshore Projects. Will also ensure the integrity of the company is maintained when changes are made to the Project Quality System.
Project Quality Engineer Responsibilities
Ensure that the correct implementation of planned Quality Audits taking into account all project processes, including Audit Reports.
Conduct project external QMS Audits covering offshore vessels, fabrication yards, third-party fabrication yards, vendors, and subcontractors’ sites.
Ensure that the correct implementation of the Project OMS is verified through the planning and execution of Project Quality Audits.
Plan and support the distribution of Quality Resources to the various areas of the project managing team.
Support the project in relations with the client and with authorities responsible for quality matters.
Ensure the preparations and issue of QC specifications for the works, coordinating, and agreeing.
Promote appropriate actions to prevent or eliminate potential non-conformities and their root causes and ensure the management of Cost of Non-Quality process.
Project Quality Engineer Position Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree and at least 8 years of Project Quality experience as a Project Quality Engineer in the Offshore Industry.
Previous experience in auditing Quality Management System based on ISO 9001:2015 Standard. ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Certification a plus.
Knowledge of quality, engineering, and oil and gas terminology.
Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, Internet, MS PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
