Our client is looking for a Project Quality Inspector to join their team on a 6-12-month contract in Halifax, NS.
The Project Quality Inspector plays a key role in ensuring that all incoming materials, components, and products meet the company’s quality standards before they enter production or reach customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect and verify incoming materials and components against quality specifications.
Use inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to perform precise evaluations.
Document inspection results, defects, and non-conformities in the quality database.
Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to address quality concerns.
Maintain detailed records, including photographic evidence of defects.
Support process improvements in receiving inspections.
Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications in quality inspection are a plus).
Experience in quality assurance, materials inspection, or receiving inspection preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
Ability to read technical drawings and inspection specifications.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with quality inspection tools and software is an advantage.
Adaptability to fast-paced environments and changing priorities.
