Job Title: QA Consultant
Location: Remote, local to houston/dublin
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced QA Consultant to provide consulting services for Quality Assurance (QA) processes and practices within a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing QA needs, developing strategies and plans, implementing testing tools and methodologies, and guiding QA teams across project phases.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess QA requirements and define QA strategies.
Design and implement automation frameworks and tools, including API automation.
Perform functional, database, UI, and system integration testing.
Conduct end-to-end and regression testing in agile delivery models.
Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams to ensure quality deliverables.
Manage and track test cases and defects using tools like Jira and test case management platforms.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders and adapt quickly to new technologies.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong QA experience in the Retail Domain.
Expertise in Functional Testing and Automation Testing using Selenium and/or UI Path (UI Path experience is a plus).
Experience in Database Testing.
Proficient in API Testing using REST services and Postman.
Knowledge of Automation Tools and Frameworks, especially for API testing.
Hands-on experience in various testing phases:
User Interface Testing
Functional Testing
System Integration Testing
End-to-End Testing
Experience working in Agile methodology.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Fast learner with the ability to quickly adopt new tools and technologies.
Experience in onsite-offshore delivery models.
Proficiency in Test Case Management Tools and Jira for defect management.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $60.00 – $62.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
