Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services by conducting inspections, implementing quality control measures, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. Duties:
Our Quality inspector undertakes inspections according to our inspection and control plans by:
· Inspecting product both dimensionally and visually per audit instructions
· Identifying, setting aside and documenting all suspect or defective products
· Returning products for repair
· Confirming repairs and product quality
· Operating precise instruments for measuring; maintaining and repairing instruments as necessary
· Proficiently utilizing a snap gage, micrometer, and calipers
· Receiving raw material and file material certs as well as placing “approved for production” labels on stock
Physical demands:
· Must wear safety glasses, ear plugs and steel toed boots (safety is number one)
· Be able to lift up to 50lbs
· Bend at waist and knees
· Physically demanding
· Will require to both, stand and sit for periods of time
· Adaptable to seasonal weather changes and occasionally deal with high heated temperatures.
Aptitude expectations:
· Ideal background in any mechanically inclined post-high school education
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets
· Follows directions
· Meticulous (very detail-oriented)
· Problem solver
· Being prompt (attendance is monumental)
· Assertive (vocalize any questions, needs and wants for each day-to-day task)
· Take initiative
· Be a team player (stay on task and communicate effectively towards coworkers and supervisor)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 – $16.00 per hour
