About the Role:
The Associate QA Engineer plays a foundational role in supporting the delivery of high-quality sowareby executing manual and automated tests across our web and server-side applications. This role helps ensure product stability and user satisfaction by identifying bugs, validating new features, and working collaboratively with product, development, and operational teams. It’s an exciting opportunity for anearly-career professional who is passionate about quality assurance and eager to grow in a fast-paced, fintech environment.
Responsibilities:
Executes functional, integration, compatibility, and regression tests under the guidance of QALeads.
Writes and maintains basic SQL queries to validate backend processes.
Tests batch uploads, file drops, and REST APIs.
Runs automated tests, reviews results, and reports defects in tracking systems.
Participates in Agile sprints, contributing to the delivery of high-quality, on-time releases.
Collaborates with Product and Engineering teams to understand requirements and document test cases.
Supports the creation of product documentation and release notes.
Tracks daily progress, logs time accurately, and communicates status updates to leads.
Upholds the company’s core values by demonstrating proactive learning, ownership, and a collaborative spirit.

Test cases are executed thoroughly, and defects are documented clearly and accurately.
Consistently delivers work on time, with attention to quality and detail.

Supports product releases with minimal post-release defects.
Builds trust with peers by communicating effectively and participating fully in sprint activities.
Demonstrates growth in both technical and QA domain knowledge over time.
Candidate Requirements:
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
Basic SQL skills and familiarity with testing batch jobs and APIs.
Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks.
Exposure to manual testing methodologies.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn.
Preferred
Previous experience in financial services or fintech environments.
Familiarity with test case management and defect tracking tools.

Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation range: $64,000 – $64,801
