Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer to ensure the quality and functionality of our software applications. In this role, you will execute test cases, identify and document defects, and collaborate with the development team to enhance product reliability and user experience.
Responsibilities
Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases based on business and technical requirements.
Identify, document, and track defects using Jira.
Perform functional, non-functional testing to ensure software reliability.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to improve overall product quality.
Verify bug fixes and conduct re-testing to ensure issues are resolved effectively.
Ensure comprehensive test coverage that aligns with business needs and user expectations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in manual software testing, including test case execution and defect tracking.
Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for identifying issues and inconsistencies.
Effective communication and documentation skills for clear reporting and collaboration.
Experience with API testing
Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation and data checks.
Familiarity with automation testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, JUnit) is a plus but not required.
Experience with card management systems like Way4 is preferred.
