Description
The Quality Assurance Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and management to ensure the quality and reliability of applications. This role involves defining testing strategies, creating test cases, and supporting testing efforts throughout various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Duties And Responsibilities
Collaborate with teams to define and execute test strategies and approaches.
Develop comprehensive test plans and cases based on requirements and specifications.
Conduct various testing methodologies, including functional, path, black-box, and white-box testing.
Work with cross-functional teams during testing phases to ensure issues are identified and resolved efficiently.
Provide feedback and recommendations to improve quality assurance processes and methodologies.
Utilize tools like Jira to track and manage testing artifacts and results.
Maintain focus on customer and business needs while delivering high-quality solutions.
Required Skills
Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance or testing roles.
Strong understanding of testing methodologies and practices.
Proficiency in using tools like Jira for managing test artifacts.
Familiarity with database management systems and SQL.
Ability to define test strategies and develop test cases effectively.
Hands-on experience in Waterfall and Agile SDLC methodologies.
Excellent communication skills and a strong customer-centric approach.
