We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with a strong background in both automation and manual testing, particularly using Selenium with Java or C#. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and detail-oriented professional with a keen eye for identifying software defects and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products. This role supports a hybrid work model, offering flexibility to work both in the office and remotely
Key Responsibilities
- Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java or C# to ensure the quality and reliability of web applications.
- Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing, to identify defects and verify software functionality.
- Test Planning: Create comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and design specifications.
- Azure Integration: Leverage knowledge of Azure and Azure DevOps to integrate testing activities into the development and release pipeline.
- Defect Management: Document and track defects, working closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
- Performance Testing: Conduct performance and load testing as required to assess application scalability.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and methodologies and contribute to a culture of quality excellence.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with development teams to ensure early testing integration and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product quality.
- Reporting: Provide clear and concise test reports, highlighting test results, defects, and progress to project stakeholders.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and automation scripts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/MCA or a related field.
- 4 to 10 years of QA experience, with a strong focus on both manual and automation testing.
- Proficiency in test automation using Selenium with Java or C#.
- Experience with Playwright & TypeScript
- Experience in API testing using Postman, REST Assured, Karate API automation tool, or using similar tools
- Experience with GitHub
- Strong knowledge of Azure and Azure DevOps for test management.
- Experience working with Agile teams.
- Experience with hybrid work arrangements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Certifications related to testing and quality assurance are a plus.
