Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a QA Analyst for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Argentina.

You'll be a senior individual contributor embedded within Agile delivery teams, responsible for ensuring that software changes meet design specifications and quality standards across the full development lifecycle. In this role, you will own a test strategy for one or more product areas, contribute to modern test automation practices, and actively shape how AI-assisted workflows are adopted within the QE discipline.
You will mentor peers, participate in cross-functional design reviews, and serve as the authoritative voice on quality for your assigned modules.
Core Technologies: Cypress/Playwright, TestKube, CI/CD Pipelines, API Testing, Agile/Scrum.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Hands-on experience with Cypress and/or Playwright for end-to-end and component testing.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working as an embedded QE member within a delivery team.
- Understanding of designing and maintaining test frameworks in a CI/CD environment (e.g., GitHub Actions, Bamboo, Jenkins).
- Familiarity with API testing and service-layer validation approaches.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate testing strategy and quality risk to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with a rigorous attention to detail.
- Proven ability to prioritize, manage multiple efforts simultaneously, and deliver in a fast-moving environment.
- Working knowledge of software integrations and the broader software development lifecycle.
- Ability to mentor and elevate the skills of colleagues across the QA discipline.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a business-related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have
- Background in the Utility or Telecom industries.
- Working knowledge of project management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development and testing workflows, including use of tools such as Claude Code for daily test authoring, triage, and documentation tasks.
- Exposure or experience with any of the following is a strong differentiator and demonstrates a commitment to modern quality engineering:
- Zephyr Atlassian Tools K6 Postman Claude Code;
- Zephyr – Test Case Management;
- Atlassian – Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo ;
- K6 — performance and load testing for APIs and web services;
- Postman — API testing platform;
- Claude Code — AI-powered coding and test workflow assistant for accelerating test authoring, root-cause analysis, and documentation.
- Relevant QA or testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
Responsibilities
- Design and execute test strategies — including functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing — ensuring software changes meet design specifications and quality standards.
- Work as an embedded quality engineer within Agile teams, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, story grooming, and retrospectives to shift quality left.
- Participate in Change Review Boards (CRBs), design reviews, and architectural discussions, providing early quality guidance as needed.
- Build and maintain automated testing for end-to-end, component, and API suites.
- Integrate automated test pipelines into CI/CD workflows, monitoring build health and surfacing failures with an actionable signal.
- Work within cross-functional teams to ensure proper performance/load/stress automations are in place.
- Leverage AI-assisted testing workflows and tools such as Claude Code to accelerate test authoring, failure analysis, test data generation, and documentation tasks.
- Own the test strategy, coverage, and QE SDLC processes for one or more assigned product areas or modules.
- Author and maintain test plans, release notes, and system enhancement documentation in close collaboration with product and engineering partners.
- Monitor application quality health across assigned modules and proactively escalate risk before release.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and go-to resource for your product area, answering advanced questions on application behavior, test coverage, and process.
- Train, coach, and mentor team members on testing techniques, tooling, and quality engineering best practices.
