We are looking for a talented individual to join the Quality Assurance team in Tech. This individual will work with cross-functional teams, responsible for ensuring high-quality software delivery to our customers.
Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and execute manual test cases and analyze results to ensure product functionality.
- Take charge of the QA processes within your project team, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards.
- Partner with Senior QA professionals to develop and refine testing strategies and plans.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to investigate and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Conduct thorough post-release and post-implementation testing to identify and resolve any residual issues.
- Interpret and execute moderately complex test scripts with precision and attention to detail.
- Continuously improve the quality and maturity of test cases and testing packs.
- Review and analyze system specifications to ensure clarity and comprehensiveness.
- Define requirements for environments, data, resources, and tools, and design reusable test scripts for streamlined processes.
Job Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-5 years’ experience in a testing or similar role
- ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Qualification
- Experience in project management & QA methodology
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Manual testing
- Understanding of the SDLC and how QA fits into the process
- Experience in using industry standard test management tools (e.g. JIRA / Zephyr, Confluence, DevOps)
- API or Mobile device testing experience
- Basic knowledge of IT and SQL, with the ability to perform simple queries and data analysis.
- Basic test case scripting
- Has knowledge of QA and bug testing tools and testing methodologies
- Working knowledge of test management software
- Understands test automation frameworks and tests (advantageous)
