Lightyx is looking for a Quality Control Specialist to join our Production and Engineering team. The role includes performing acceptance tests and quality control for mechanical, optical, and electrical components/assemblies, verifying compliance with drawings and specifications, and documenting deviations with suppliers—ensuring every component is functional and ready for assembly.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Incoming Inspection: Perform acceptance tests for mechanical, optical, and electrical components.
🔹 Verification: Verify compliance with technical drawings, BOM, specifications, and work instructions.
🔹 Measurements & Visual Inspection: Check dimensions, tolerances, finishing/coating, part marking, and component integrity.
🔹 Documentation: Document test results (forms/reports) and maintain traceability by part and serial numbers.
🔹 Deviation Management: Open Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), manage deviations, communicate with suppliers, and handle RMA processes when necessary.
🔹 Assembly: Perform mechanical and electronic sub-assemblies.
🔹 Collaboration: Work with Engineering, Procurement, and Production to improve quality processes and prevent recurring faults.
🔹 In-Process & Final Testing: Participate in intermediate and final inspections as needed.
🔹 Final QA: Inspect devices and verify quality before shipping.
Requirements:
✅ Education: Technician/Practical Engineer .
✅ Technical Skills: Ability to read mechanical drawings and understand tolerances (GD&T – an advantage).
✅ Languages: High-level Hebrew; Technical English (for reading specifications and corresponding with suppliers).
✅ Personal Traits: High level of organization, accuracy, and personal responsibility.
Significant Advantages:
⭐ Experience in electrical board/assembly testing (visual inspection, BOM matching, basic testing).
⭐ Proven experience in mechanical assembly.
