QA Associate Analyst – Omni Channel
About the Role:
We are looking for a QA Associate Analyst – Omni Channel to support quality across end-to-end customer journeys spanning digital, store, and fulfillment systems.
In this role, you will help ensure that omni-channel experiences—such as Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS), Ship-from-Store, Order Management, Returns, and Inventory flows—work reliably across multiple systems and touchpoints.
This is a hands-on, early-career role where you will:
- Execute functional and end-to-end testing
- Validate data consistency across integrated systems
- Support release readiness and regression stability
- You will build strong foundations in testing, integration validation, and modern QE practices, with a clear path toward becoming a Quality Engineer.
What You’ll Do:
End-to-End Omni Channel Testing:
- Execute test cases across end-to-end workflows such as:
- Cart Order Fulfillment Store pickup Returns
- Validate feature behavior across multiple systems (Frontend apps, APIs, POS, OMS, Inventory).
- Perform manual and exploratory testing to identify defects and edge cases.
- Support regression testing to ensure stability across releases.
Integration & Data Validation:
- Validate data consistency across systems:
- Orders, inventory, pricing, customer data
- Test integration flows across APIs, services, and downstream systems.
Support validation of:
- Batch jobs and scheduled processes
- Event-driven workflows and system handoffs
- Identify data mismatches, missing updates, or processing issues.
Execute Testing in Agile Teams:
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, refinement, sprint planning).
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and analysts to:
- Understand requirements
- Identify test scenarios and edge cases early
- Communicate test progress, risks, and blockers clearly.
Defect Management & Quality Assurance:
- Log clear, reproducible defects with impact and evidence.
- Re-test fixes and validate issue resolution.
- Help identify root causes of common defects (data issues, integration failures).
- Learn from production issues to improve testing coverage and quality.
Support Automation & QE Practices:
- Execute existing automated test suites and report failures.
Assist with:
- Test data preparation
- Expanding regression coverage
Begin building skills in:
- API testing (REST/JSON)
- Automation frameworks
- CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing
- Support shift-left quality practices under guidance.
Learn Omni Channel Systems & Workflows:
Develop understanding of:
- Order lifecycle and fulfillment processes
- Store operations and POS integrations
- Inventory and availability flows
- Learn how multiple systems interact across customer journeys.
- Continuously improve domain knowledge and technical skills.
What You Bring:
Required Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of experience in QA / Software Testing.
Strong understanding of:
- Test case execution
- Regression and exploratory testing
- Defect lifecycle
- Experience testing business workflows or backend systems.
Basic familiarity with:
- APIs (REST, JSON)
- Data validation (SQL or equivalent)
- Experience with tools like JIRA, qTest, or similar.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to Omni Channel / Retail systems:
- eCommerce, POS, Order Management, Inventory, Fulfillment
- Experience testing integration-heavy workflows
Familiarity with:
- API testing tools (Postman, etc.)
- Basic automation or scripting (JavaScript, Python, etc.)
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Interest in growing into a Quality Engineer role.
