G&S Foods is a central PA based snack food company operating in Hanover, PA. We are a co-manufacturer of sweet and salty snacks from popcorn to chocolate-covered pretzels. The Quality Assurance Technician position is responsible for
Testing product to ensure that it meets customer specifications, including weights of products, percentages of ingredients, and label requirements
Properly record of all testing completed on products
Report nonconformity with product to supervisor on duty
Prepare and send samples of new products to customers as requested
Position is primarily on first shift, must cover second and third shift as needed (will be given proper notice)
Qualifications:
Previous quality assurance in a food industry required
Must able to work various shifts
Detail oriented
Communication
Able and willing to work overtime as needed
Shift Time:
2nd shift: Monday to Friday, 2:30pm-10:30pm
3rd shift: Sunday to Thursday, 10:30pm-6:30am
