Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inspector/Packer to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the required specifications and standards before they are packaged and shipped. Your expertise in quality inspection and adherence to FDA regulations will be vital in maintaining our commitment to excellence.
Duties
Conduct thorough quality inspections of products using precision measuring instruments, including calipers and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
Analyze product specifications and compare them against established standards to ensure compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices).
Fabricate inspection tools as needed to enhance the quality assurance process.
Perform regular quality audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to FDA regulations.
Document inspection results accurately and maintain records for traceability.
Collaborate with production teams to address any quality issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
Assist in training new staff on quality inspection techniques and best practices.
Qualifications
Proven experience in quality assurance or quality inspection within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Familiarity with FDA regulations and CGMP guidelines is essential.
Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and CMMs.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration across departments.
