We are looking for a contractor for a medior/senior QA Engineer role to join one of the most famous provider of telecommunications services in Poland. This role seems focused on test automation, quality assurance strategy, and mentoring within an agile development team.
What would be your responsibilities?
Defining and improving QA strategy within the team.
Designing and implementing Test Automation for APIs.
Ensuring the team adheres to QA principles and best practices.
Gathering and presenting testing metrics to stakeholders.
Leading continuous process improvements in QA practices and tools.
Serving as the point of contact for testing and QA-related matters.
Mentoring and leading other QA engineers and contributing to the QA Chapter’s development.
Managing test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
Our requirements:
At least 3 years in a QA Lead/Test Automation role with supporting junior colleagues
Proficiency in scripting or programming (preferably Ruby).
Expertise in Test Automation Frameworks and CI/CD integration.
In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and Built-In-Quality.
Practical knowledge of REST APIs and automation testing.
Experience with Git, Agile environments, and coaching teams on best practices.
Ability to anticipate testing needs and design test strategies accordingly.
Polish language on advanced level, communicative level of English
Desired Skills (Optional):
Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure (AWS), and large-scale distributed systems.
Familiarity with KIBANA, JIRA, XRAY, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
Tech Stack:
Technologies/Tools: Multiplatform environment, AWS, Salesforce/Vlocity, Java microservices, GitLab, GoCD, JIRA, Confluence, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Ruby, Cucumber (for API testing).
Work Environment:
Agile (SAFe) approach with a focus on collaboration within cross-functional teams. You would be expected to contribute to solution design, user story writing, and help improve workflow and monitoring processes.
