Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for performing inspections and tests and maintaining quality standards by approving incoming materials, production in-process, and finally, the finished products.
Essential Function/Responsibilities:
To ensure all products are manufactured or remanufactured to customer(s) specifications.
Performs all inspections to ensure they are in compliance with customer requirements.
Assists QC supervisor on the adherence to the requirements of API Q1 related to quality control.
Maintain a clean and orderly quality control department that projects a professional work environment.
Assumes responsibilities as directed by management.
Training, Skills, Knowledge, and/or Experience:
3 – 5 years related experience and/or training, or as deemed sufficient by management.
Must be able to operate a forklift and overhead crane.
Must possess basic computer skills.
Ability to analyze information.
Must possess excellent attention to detail.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
