Roles and Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and cases based on project requirements
Conduct manual testing to identify defects and ensure the software meets quality standards
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues using debugging tools such as Chrome DevTools
Create and maintain automated test scripts using at least one programming language
Implement automated testing with tools like Cypress and Selenium
Manage and track defects using platforms such as TestRail, BrowserStack, and JIRA
Perform API testing (REST/GraphQL) using tools like Postman or Insomnia
Collaborate with the development team to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, utilizing tools like Jenkins
Utilize version control systems, such as Git, to manage test scripts and related artifacts
Apply knowledge of database fundamentals to perform simple SQL or NoSQL queries (a plus)
Contribute to performance testing efforts using tools such as Apache JMeter (a plus)
Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies and collaborate effectively within an agile environment
Communicate test results, issues, and concerns clearly and effectively to stakeholders
Conduct regular regression testing and sanity tests across multiple platforms and environments
Requirements
3+ years in software testing (manual)
Automated testing is a plus
Experience with Cypress
Test case design, execution, and defect tracking (JIRA, TestRail)
CI/CD integration with Jenkins, version control (Git)
Basic SQL/NoSQL knowledge (preferred)
Performance testing exposure (JMeter is a plus)
Agile/Scrum experience with strong communication skills
This is remote full-time position
