The Role:
We are seeking a talented QA Engineer to join our growing technology team.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in software quality assurance with a strong focus on API testing
- Proven experience testing RESTful APIs in FinTech or other highly regulated domains
- Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, REST principles, status codes, and API lifecycle
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, or similar
- Experience validating complex JSON payloads, headers, and error responses
- Strong knowledge of test case design, test data preparation, and defect management
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
- Solid understanding of financial workflows such as payments, transactions, settlements, or account management
- Experience testing APIs integrated with third-party payment providers or banking systems
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
Technical Skills
- Manual API testing experience
- Experience with database testing using SQL and validating transactional data
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth 2.0, JWT, API keys)
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated API tests
- Experience testing role-based access control and audit logging
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling)
- Exposure to microservices-based architectures
- Hands-on experience with API automation frameworks
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Java, Python, or JavaScript)
- ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications
- Understanding of data security, encryption, and secure API practices
- Demonstrable fluency with AI development tools (e.g., Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or equivalent) as part of your day-to-day workflow. We’re looking for people who use these tools with judgement and treat them as force multipliers.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced FinTech environment
