Job Description
The QA Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions. They will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g., defect densities and open defect counts). The QA Engineer will ensure that our products, applications, and systems work correctly.
Responsibilities
Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
Perform manual and automated testing of applications to ensure the quality of the product.
Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
Work closely with development teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Collaborate with product management to understand requirements and define test plans.
Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.
Monitor and report on testing activities, logging defects and issues.
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Suggest and implement improvements to the testing process.
Skills
1+ years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
Good Knowledge of API testing and familiarity with tools like Postman and Swagger.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
