Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer with 3–4 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual and automated testing, and a passion for delivering high-quality, reliable software products.
As a QA Engineer, you will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, design test plans, and ensure the product meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute test cases (manual and automated) based on product requirements.
Identify, record, and track bugs using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Collaborate with the development team to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality risks.
Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
Contribute to improving QA processes and automation frameworks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
3–4 years of experience in software testing (manual and/or automation).
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and best practices.
Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
Experience with API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or automated scripts.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of test suites in build pipelines.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
Good understanding of bug tracking tools and version control systems (e.g., Jira, Git).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner.
Basic knowledge of scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, or Shell).
Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Behave).
Understanding of cloud platforms and testing in cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
