About The Role
This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our SaaS web application and mobile app. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to design, execute, and automate test coverage—playing a key role in shaping the quality culture of our team. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in building robust test frameworks, champions best practices, and thrives in an agile product environment. Your contributions will directly influence the delivery of high-quality software, ensuring seamless user experiences across platforms.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a minimum of 3+ years of experience in QA or software testing roles, demonstrating a strong proficiency in both manual testing and test automation. Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright and/or Selenium is essential. Familiarity with testing SaaS web applications across backend and frontend components, as well as testing mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms, is required. Candidates should have a solid understanding of testing methodologies including functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Experience with API testing tools like Postman or similar, along with familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices and version control systems like Git, will be highly advantageous. Additional skills in backend testing frameworks, browser automation, and CI/CD pipelines are considered a plus.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include designing, writing, and executing manual test cases for new features, bug fixes, and regression cycles to ensure comprehensive test coverage. You will build, maintain, and scale automated test suites using tools such as Playwright and Selenium, ensuring robust automation frameworks are in place. Testing will span across the full stack, including web applications and mobile apps, performing various testing types like functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing. API testing will be a core component, validating backend services and integrations for stability and performance. You will identify, document, and track defects with clear, reproducible steps, collaborating with developers to ensure timely resolution and verification. Additionally, you will integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous quality assurance. Maintaining detailed test documentation, including test plans, cases, and QA reports, will be essential. You will also advocate for quality standards, contribute to process improvements, and actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
