QA Engineer

Full-time

  • Vadodara, Gujarat
  • On-site
  • 3–4 years
  • Posted 30 Aug 2026

We’re looking for a QA Engineer / QA Analyst with 3–4 years of experience to help ensure the quality and reliability of our web-based SaaS platform. You’ll own functional, API, database and regression testing across complex business workflows, working closely with the QA Lead, developers and product owners to ship high-quality releases.

What we’re looking for

  • 3–4 years of hands-on QA/testing experience on web-based applications
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC, and of the defect lifecycle, severity and priority
  • Functional, integration, regression, smoke, sanity, exploratory and negative testing
  • Hands-on API testing with Postman — REST, GET/POST/PUT/PATCH/DELETE, HTTP status codes, JSON, headers and authentication
  • SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar) for backend data validation — joins, filtering, aggregation and reconciliation
  • Test & defect management with JIRA, Azure DevOps, Xray, TestRail or Confluence
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear communication with developers and product owners
  • Good to have: Playwright, Selenium or Cypress; JavaScript, TypeScript or Python basics; CI/CD; cloud (GCP, AWS or Azure); performance testing with JMeter; Agile/Scrum experience

What you’ll do

  • Analyze requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria, and turn them into detailed test scenarios, cases and data
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, smoke, sanity and end-to-end testing across complex business and transactional workflows
  • Perform API testing with Postman — validating requests, responses, status codes, business rules and error handling
  • Perform database testing and backend data validation using SQL, verifying consistency across UI, API and database
  • Design positive, negative, boundary and edge-case scenarios — think well beyond the happy path
  • Log and track defects with clear reproduction steps, expected/actual results, severity and supporting evidence
  • Retest resolved defects and run impact-based regression testing
  • Participate in sprint planning, requirement discussions and release activities
  • Maintain test documentation and own testing for your assigned modules within sprint timelines
  • Contribute ideas to improve QA processes, test coverage and automation
