QA Engineer in our office in Amman
Responsibilities
- Perform manual regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
- Monitor and follow up on release and bug lifecycles.
- Participate in the creation and maintenance of test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Take ownership of product quality and support the team in delivering high-quality services.
- Create, maintain, and monitor automated tests and daily test reports.
- Participate in code reviews and automation grooming sessions.
- Perform load and performance testing for high-load systems.
Experience Requirements
- Strong understanding of software testing types, methodologies, and processes.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, TestRail, and Azure DevOps (or similar platforms).
- Strong knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
- Strong SQL skills and solid understanding of databases.
- Advanced automation experience with JavaScript/TypeScript (3+ years).
- Experience with Playwright(Cypress or Selenium), Jest, and Axios.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and the role of test automation within them.
- Experience working in Agile environments such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience testing REST APIs and messaging systems.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Java or C#.
- Previous experience working with CRM systems.
- Previous experience working in FinTech companies or financial systems.
